T-Bird Auto Body and Paint
1957 Classic Ford T-Bird

Classic Car Collision Repair

We are a shop that provides classic car collision repair services.  This 1957 Ford unfortunately  was accidentally hit in a parking lot and was in need of some minor body work to the driver side fender.  This Classic T-Bird was restored back in the 80’s and any car in Colorado, sun fading of the paint is to be expected. We are equipped with a full paint bank of BASF’s Glasurit 90Line which we were able to closely match the color of this beauty.  Blending into the door was necessary in order to closely match the custom Dusty Rose Antique color this American Classic Car sports today.

1957 Ford T-Bird

Classic Car Collision Repair

First Generation

An American Classic, the Ford T-Bird went from an idea to a prototype in about a year, February 1954 it was revealed at the Detroit Auto Show. 1957 is a first generation; it was the year for their first revision. A reshaped front bumper, a larger grille and tailfins, and larger tail lamps were some of the changes that were made. The instrument panel was heavily re-styled with round gauges in a single pod, and the rear of the car was lengthened, allowing the spare tire to be positioned back in the trunk. 1957 was a record-breaking year with 21,380 T-Birds sold. Today, there are 11 generations of the Classic T-Bird, the last one rolled off the assembly line on July 1, 2005 which had many features from the first generation. Will Ford come out with it’s 12th generation of this American Classic?
